LODGING POLICIES
Winzig Lodge is pleased to have you as our guest.
We know you will love the Lava Hot Springs area and are happy you chose us as your host. We have been working hard to make sure your stay is most comfortable.
Please find below all the instructions associated with your stay. If you have questions, please let us know. Our top priority is for your comfort and enjoyment here at Winzig Lodge.

Check in time is after 4:00 pm. Check out time is before 11:00 am.
Keyless entry code: Gently hold three fingers on the key pad until it lights up. Then key in the last 4 digits of your phone number you gave us and press #.
Parking
Free onsite parking. One parking spot available for each reserved room. Street parking is available per city code.
Towels
Don’t forget to bring your towels for the pools and river. Your credit card will be charged $20 per missing towel. Room towels are provided for in room use only. Towel rentals available at pools.
Minimum Age
Guests must be over 18 years old to reserve a room. Valid photo identification is required.
Housekeeping
We do not provide daily housekeeping. Ample towels and bedding are provided. If you have additional needs, just give us a call 208-244-9402.
Noise
Please respect renters in other units by keeping noise levels down – particularly before 8:00 A.M. and after 10:00 P.M.
Animals
No animals are allowed at Winzig Lodge. Please refer to the following boarding options for your pet: Brauns Boarding and Grooming, 208-339-5584, and Mystery Lake Kennels, 208-254-3430. A $250.00 fine will be assessed to the renter when this rule is not followed.
Smoking or Vaping
No smoking or vaping is allowed within 50 feet of any building. There is a $500.00 fine for smoking/vaping in or around the outside of the lodge.
Accidents, Injuries, Illness or Loss
Winzig Lodge is privately owned – the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur in or on the complex, common grounds. The owners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables to the renters. We will do our best to return items left in the unit. Postage will be paid out of the security deposit. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all renters are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.
Property Damage/Excessive Cleaning
A $500 minimum fee will be charged to occupant’s credit card on file for any excessive cleaning deemed necessary by the management due to any of the following: smoking, pets, excessive trash and waste, dents/holes, damage to fixtures, furnishings, appliances, beds, or other property, etc. Stains on carpets, blinds and/or upholstery and other surfaces, etc. Any missing items will be the responsibility of the renter.
Issues
Please report any damage or issues with the Lodge within three hours of check-in. These issues can be reported by texting 208-244-9402.
Departure Instructions
• Leave used beds unmade
• Family Suite (unit 3) bring all towels to main floor.
• Turn off all lights, fans, appliances (including coffee maker), fireplace where applicable.
• Return any moved furniture back to its original spot
• Set air conditioning units to 73 degrees in AUTO setting
• Wash all dishes, load and start dishwasher where applicable
• Discard used coffe/tea/hot cocoa pods in trash bin. NOTE: do not disgard permanant plastic pod
• Please make sure the gas grill is turned off after use (turn off the gas)
• Please scrape and clean the grill after it has cooled
• Take all garbage out to the outdoor trash dumpsters.
• Close and lock all windows and outside doors.
Check In/Out
If you would like an exception to check in or out times, please let us know by emailing winziglodge@gmail.com or calling 208-244-9402. If no one is staying the day before or after, we will likely approve a change.
Cancellations
Cancellations require a 7-day notice. $35 processing fee for cancellation prior to 7 days. Cancellation fees after 7 days will be charged 50% of reservation. If the property is “re-rented” for the cancelled time period, the fees will be refunded after the new renter has paid all of the fees for the same time period.
Payments
50% payment required at time of reservation. Three days prior to check-in the remainder of payment will be automatically charged to your credit card.
Owner reserves the right to evict the renter if the terms of this agreement are not adhered to.

GIFT CERTIFICATE POLICIES
A copy of the gift certificate must be emailed to winziglodge@gmail.com or texted a picture at 208-244-9402 at time of booking along with a valid driver's license. Gift certificates are transferable. Any remaining amount on gift certificates can be used at a later day up to the expiration date. Gift certificates cannot be redeemed for cash.
